Collage Workshop Flier Series

Printed flier design work showcased at American University's 2019 Design Show, which was selected and judged by a juried panel of professional designers.

This series of pamphlets for a fictional collage workshop references collage work by artist John Stezaker. To create this, I first took several portraits in a photo studio. Then, I printed them, trimmed as desired, crumpled them up for added texture, and scanned them in again. When I receive fliers of my own with art that I like enough to display, I like to trim the words off so I can use the art on its own. With this in mind, I intentionally let the text and imagery stand separately so that anyone who likes the flier to keep can use the image for their own purposes. Who knows! Maybe they can make their own collage.
